This photo collection was taken in April 2005, during a trip to Gorgan and Golestan Province for a congress commemorating Mir Damad and Mir Fendereski, two major Safavid-era philosophers. Some of the photographs show Naharkhoran and the forested landscapes south of Gorgan, while others document the atmosphere of the journey, the surroundings of Naharkhoran Hotel, the Fenderesk area, and several views from northern Iran.
Naharkhoran, with its forest vegetation and its proximity to the Hyrcanian forest zone, is one of the most recognizable natural areas of Gorgan.

این مجموعه عکس‌ها در آوریل 2005، در حاشیه سفری به گرگان و استان گلستان گرفته شده‌اند؛ سفری که به مناسبت شرکت در کنگره بزرگداشت میرداماد و میرفندرسکی، دو فیلسوف و حکیم برجسته دوره صفوی، انجام شده بود. بخشی از تصاویر مربوط به ناهارخوران و فضای جنگلی جنوب گرگان است و بخشی دیگر حال‌وهوای مسیر، طبیعت اطراف، فضای هتل ناهارخوران، منطقه فندرسک را نشان می‌دهد.
ناهارخوران، با پوشش جنگلی و نزدیکی به پهنه جنگل‌های هیرکانی، یکی از شناخته‌شده‌ترین نواحی طبیعی گرگان است.
